Auch das Gegenteil erschiene bedroht (me suena raro ese "erschiene" pero creo que es un problema mío, jaja).

Igual, me animo a decir que hay un sutil error de interpretación y por ende de traducción en tu propuesta. Esto debería ser:

También lo contrario / lo opuesto pareciera estar en peligro / pareciera estar amenazado.

Se entiende la diferencia?
