Hallo allerseits. Bin gerade dabei eine Aufsatz über meinen Urgrossvater zu übersetzen. Von Deutsch ins Spanisch.
Der Autor schreibt:
Erwähnt und gewürdigt werden Fränkels Stiftungen und Schenkungen von seinen Zeitgenossen Karl Bauer und Heinrich Kloppenburg sowie bezogen auf den Julius-Wolff-Brunnen von Martin Hartmann und den Kinderhort Marienburger Höhe von Hartmut Häger.
Mein Versuch:
Karl Bauer y Heinrich Kloppenburg, contemporáneos de Fränkel, mencionan y honran las fundaciones y donaciones de éste; Martin Harmann hace lo propio respecto de la fuente Julius-Wolff como así Harmut Häger de la guardería Marienburger Höhe.
Stimmt das so ungefähr sinngemäss?

Claro que sí, Gaby. Todo correcto. Sólo las Stiftungen no son fundaciones sino también donaciones o aportaciones en este contexto.
¿Qué bien que hayas tenido un bisabuelo tan generoso!

Si, mi bisabuelo fue un capo total. Lamentablemente, por esas circunstancias históricas que le tocó vivir a Alemania, no se lo reconocieron nunca, es más, tuvo que escapar como una laucha. Ya sabés a lo que me refiero. Hoy hay un profesor universitario en Hildesheim que quiere honrarlo y escribió este "Aufsatz" (como él le dice) y por el diario alemán en Argentina tomó contacto con la familia en Argentina. Sumamente interesante.
En cuanto a Stiftung = fundación? Porque de hecho creó fundaciones también. Así por lo menos lo entendí: hizo generosas donaciones y creó fundaciones.
Gracias por tu rápida respuesta. Es que me había enmarañado un poco.

Si tu bisabuelo también creó fundaciones, entonces perdona; Stiftung es evidentemente fundación, pero también puede ser una donación. Y claro, a falta de más conexto ... ¡metí la pata!

Danke Al, aber in der Liste sind keine meiner Vorfahren. Fränkel war auch kein so ausgefallener Name, wie ich mittlerweile feststellen konnte. Info habe ich eine Menge.
